A Carefully Controlled Process

Every MONAK watch is assembled individually, component by component. This approach allows us to dedicate the necessary time and attention to each piece, ensuring that every element is correctly aligned, fitted, and installed before moving to the next stage.

Because each watch is assembled and prepared individually, slight natural variations may occur between pieces. These subtle differences are part of the individual character of a made-to-order watch and do not affect its intended function or quality.

Carefully Selected Materials

Every component is selected with purpose, balancing aesthetics, resistance, comfort, and long-term durability. The components used for each model are chosen to work together as a complete and cohesive timepiece.

Individual Assembly

Once the components have been selected and verified, the watch is assembled in a controlled working environment using the appropriate tools for each stage of the process.

The automatic movement, dial, hands, case, crystal, crown, bracelet, and other elements are brought together to form the finished piece.

Particular care is given to delicate components and visually important details, including the positioning of the dial, the alignment of the hands, the cleanliness of the crystal, and the condition of the exterior finishing.

Movement and Function Checks

During preparation, the movement and watch functions are checked to confirm that they are operating as intended.

Depending on the features of the individual model, this may include checking the winding system, time-setting function, crown operation, hand movement, date function, and general mechanical performance.

Automatic movements are mechanical systems, and minor variations in daily timekeeping are normal. Proper use, careful handling, and routine servicing will help preserve their performance over time.

Quality Control

Before shipping, every watch goes through a final review in which we verify:

• Correct operation of the automatic movement
• Condition of the crystal, case, bracelet, and exterior finishing
• Alignment of the hands, dial, and visible components
• Proper crown operation, including winding and time setting
• Secure fitting of the bracelet, strap, clasp, and external components
• Overall presentation and visual condition
• Final cleanliness before packaging

Only after this review is completed is the watch packaged and prepared for shipment. If an issue is identified during the inspection, the watch is held back and corrected before it leaves our hands.

Every MONAK watch is made to order. This means the preparation of your piece begins after your order has been confirmed.

Rather than simply taking a finished watch from a large stock, we prepare each piece individually for the customer who ordered it.
